A patient shared this recipe for Thanksgiving stuffing. It sounded so good that I wanted to share it.
1 bag of Cornbread stuffing (or gluten free breadcrumbs),Butter or Ghee, finely chopped onion, Jimmy Dean nitrate free sausage with sage (if you can’t find the one with sage, use a half drop of SAGE Vitality essential oil added after you remove the fry pan from heat),organic celery,2 cage free eggs,chicken broth,peeled and chopped organic green apple. Cook the sausage until browned. Drain the fat. Add the celery,onion and the butter or ghee. Cook until the onion is translucent. Remove from heat. Mix the cornbread, eggs, apple and chicken broth with sausage mixture. Use the amount of liquid that they suggest on the cornbread package. Put in casserole dish and bake covered for about 45 minutes in 325 oven until done.
