July_images_enewsDr Amy Myers, MD, author of  The Auto-Immune Solution, recommends Aromatherapy for stress reduction.  The recipes featured in her book are for your bath, scenting your  home, as a perfume or massage oil.

Relaxant Fragrance

4 oz sweet almond oil, 10 drops each lavender and lemon essential oils, 2 drops each marjoram and sandalwood essential oils.

Mood Booster Fragrance

4 oz sweet almond oil, 10 drops each bergamot and petitgrain essential oils, 3 drops rose geranium, 1 drop neroli.

Stimulant for Fatigue

4 oz sweet almond oil, 15 drops lemon essential oil, 4 drops eucalyptus, 1 drop each of cinnamon, peppermint, clove, patchouli, and or sage essential oils as available.

Memory Stimulant

4 oz sweet almond oil, 10 drops of lavender and lemon essential oils, 5 drops rosemary, 1 drop cinnamon oil.

Aphrodisiac

4 oz sweet almond oil, 10 drops each lavender and sandalwood essential oils, 2 drops each ylang-ylang and vanilla essential oils, 1 drop cinnamon and jasmine essential oil.
