DIY Skin Care Products

BeautyMaking skin care products can be fun and beneficial. Products applied to the skin ultimately ends up in your bloodstream.  If you wouldn’t eat it, think twice about applying it to your skin.  If you have blemishes on your face, consider looking at the Chinese face mapping model (thanks to Danielle Huard).  In Chinese medicine, areas of the face correlate to certain organs. By applying the appropriate oils to these areas of the face, it can help to support these organs.  You only need a few drops of oil in a carrier base. Apply and massage into those areas of your face to support your body systems.  Apply a warm moist towel to enhance absorption.  (patch test first) Go to this link to see the face map and the suggested oils.  https://tawnyasessentialoils.wordpress.com/2014/02/02/face-reflex-points/
