A recent book, “When Panic Attacks”, by Dr David Burns MD offers many non-drug options to help with panic and anxiety.   Dr Rick Hanson, author of “Hardwiring Happiness”, says to only allow yourself three times to worry about something.

Additionally, avoid watching the news.  Instead, listen to ambient music to soothe the nerves. Soundstrue.com  and Pandora.com have a great selection of healing music.  Soundstrue gives you several downloads for free if you sign up for their newsletter or share their site.
